Winter 2020 Groups

Why cfCommunities?

So the church can be an irresistible community where a person can love and be loved, know and be known, serve and be served, celebrate and be celebrated.

Ministry happens when believers gather to fellowship, encourage and exhort one another.  Jesus says in John 13:34&35, “So now I am giving you a new commandment: Love each other. Just as I have loved you, you should love each other. Your love for one another will prove to the world that you are my disciples.”

It is this genuine care and concern for each other that attracts nonbelievers to our unconditionally loving God. Caring for one another also gives substance to our faith. The big picture is loving God so deeply that it overflows and impacts how we fellowship and connect with others.  Jesus also commands us, “‘And you must love the Lord your God with all your heart, all your soul, all your mind, and all your strength.’… ‘Love your neighbor as yourself.’ No other commandment is greater than these. (Mark 12:30-31 NLT).”

Community Groups are an outlet for us to obey what Jesus has commanded.  Every believer has good works to accomplish (Eph. 2:10).  Fellowshipping with others on a regular basis is a great way to fulfill many of those good works!  These smaller gatherings will provide deeper relationships, greater accountability and a means to care for one another.

We are so excited to launch this session of groups and believe God is doing something great.
