Scripture:

“And I tell you that you are Peter, and on this rock I will build my church, and the gates of death will not overcome it.” – Matthew 16:18

Reflection:

When Jesus promised to build His church, He wasn’t talking about brick and mortar. He was talking about people. The word ecclesia means “gathering” or “assembly” — a movement of people united around one message: Jesus is the Messiah, risen from the dead.

Somewhere along the way, church got reduced to a location, a building, a weekend service. But from the very beginning, the church was never meant to be stationary. It was meant to move.

Application:

Ask yourself today: Am I simply attending church, or am I moving with the church?

Prayer:

Lord, help me see myself as part of Your living movement, not just a visitor in a building. Let my life advance Your mission. Amen.

Send-off:

You are the church. Wherever you go today, the movement continues.
