Scripture: “You will be my witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of the earth.” — Acts 1:8
We often think of influence as something reserved for leaders, celebrities, or people with big platforms. But when Jesus gave the Great Commission, He didn’t speak to the powerful—He spoke to fishermen, tax collectors, and ordinary people who had simply walked with Him.
Influence, in the kingdom of God, isn’t about popularity—it’s about proximity. The closer you walk with Jesus, the greater your potential to impact those around you. Every word you speak, every act of kindness, every decision of integrity—it all shapes the people in your orbit.
When you realize your life is a witness, everything you do becomes sacred. Your home becomes a ministry. Your job becomes a mission. Your friendships become opportunities for the gospel to take root.
You may never stand on a stage, but someone is watching your life. And through you, they might just see Jesus.
Prayer:
Lord, remind me today that my influence matters. Help me walk closely with You so that my life reflects Your heart in every space I enter. Amen.
