Be still. Really still

Scripture: “Be still, and know that I am God.” — Psalm 46:10
Stillness doesn’t happen accidentally. Our world is engineered to keep us loud, busy, scrolling, rushing, reacting.
And yet God says something shockingly counter-cultural: Be still.
Stillness is not laziness.
Stillness is active trust.
If you can scroll for an hour, you can sit still for ten minutes. If you can watch a show, you can wait on God. The question is never time, it’s attention.
Application:
Today, schedule 5 minutes of stillness. Literally schedule it.
No requests.
No journaling.
No agenda.
Just: “Speak, Lord.”
Prayer:
God, teach me to slow down. Quiet my mind. Calm my heart. I want to know You, not just talk about You. Amen.
