Scripture:

“Let us then approach God’s throne of grace with confidence… so that we may receive mercy and find grace to help us in our time of need.” — Hebrews 4:16 (NIV)

Reflection:

So often, we think faith means having no questions. But the Bible tells a different story. Jesus asked questions. David asked questions. Job, Jeremiah, Habakkuk—all faithful people, all deeply honest in their pain.

God doesn’t shame your questions. He invites them. In Hebrews 4, we’re told to come boldly—confidently—to His throne of grace. Why? Because we don’t come to a cold, unfeeling God, but to a High Priest—Jesus—who has experienced the same pain, temptation, and heartbreak we have.

God doesn’t always answer every question with clarity, but He always answers with mercy and grace. Sometimes He gives you insight. Sometimes, He gives you strength. Always, He gives you Himself.

You may be angry. You may be heartbroken. That’s okay—God can handle your honesty. He meets us best when we’re most vulnerable. Come boldly.

Prayer:

God, thank You that I can come to You with every emotion, every question, every doubt. You don’t turn me away—you welcome me. Give me grace to trust You, even when the answers don’t come easily. Amen.
