Boldness in Witness

Read: Acts 4:13

The religious leaders were astonished at Peter and John. They recognized they were “unschooled, ordinary men” but took note that they had been with Jesus. Their boldness wasn’t about education, skill, or background. It was about presence—the presence of Christ with them through the Spirit.

The world doesn’t need more impressive Christians. It needs more Christians who have been with Jesus. Bold witness flows naturally from intimacy with Him. The more time we spend in His Word, in prayer, and in fellowship, the more His boldness shines through us.

Reflection: Would people around you recognize that you’ve been with Jesus? How can you draw nearer to Him this week so that your life points more clearly to Him?

Lord, make my life a testimony. Let others see Jesus in me—not because of my strength, but because I’ve been with You. Amen.
