Scripture: Ephesians 2:8 (NLT)
“God saved you by his grace when you believed. And you can’t take credit for this; it is a gift from God.”
Doubt isn’t the absence of faith — it’s often the very place where faith is forged.
Pastor Cory spoke openly about how believers and non-believers alike wrestle with doubt. We doubt God sometimes. But more often, we doubt ourselves. We question our ability, our value, even our salvation. But God doesn’t leave us in the fog. He speaks clarity through His Word: You have been saved by grace, not by works. It is a gift.
You didn’t earn your salvation — so you don’t have to earn your worth. That means your doubts don’t disqualify you. God isn’t scared of your questions. In fact, He invites them — and then meets them with grace.
Faith is a journey, and doubt may be part of the path. But it doesn’t get to define the destination. God defines you. And He says you are saved, loved, and chosen.
Prayer: God, when doubt creeps in, help me to cling to grace. Remind me that my worth is not based on my feelings but on Your promise. Strengthen my faith as I follow You. Amen.
