Empowered for Witness

Scripture:

“But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you will be my witnesses… to the ends of the earth.” – Acts 1:8

Reflection:

Jesus didn’t leave His followers with a vague mission and no resources. He promised power. Power not for status or comfort, but to bear witness — to speak, live, and show the truth of who He is.

The same Spirit that filled the first disciples is alive in you. Your role is not just to learn about Jesus, but to live as His witness wherever you go: your home, workplace, neighborhood, and beyond.

Where is God calling you to be a witness this week? Name one place or one relationship and pray for boldness.

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, empower me to be a faithful witness. Give me courage to speak truth and love in every place I go. Amen.
