Scripture: “He must become greater; I must become less.” — John 3:30

Influence becomes dangerous when it becomes self-centered. The early church didn’t turn the world upside down because they sought attention—they did it because they lifted up the name of Jesus.

True influence doesn’t draw people to you—it draws them to Him. In Acts, whenever people were healed, saved, or amazed, the apostles redirected the praise: “Why do you look at us as if by our own power or godliness we made this man walk?” (Acts 3:12).

That’s stewardship. Recognizing that the influence you have isn’t yours—it’s His, flowing through you.

So whether you lead a team, raise kids, serve at church, or simply show up at work every day—use your influence to elevate Christ. Because when people see Jesus through you, your impact will outlive you.

Prayer:

Jesus, keep my heart humble. Let my influence always point back to You. May everything I do bring honor to Your name. Amen.
