Invited to the Table

Scripture:
“At mealtime Boaz called to her, ‘Come over here, and help yourself to some food.’… She ate all she wanted and still had some left over.” – Ruth 2:14
Reflection:
Boaz invited Ruth—a foreigner, an outsider—to his table and gave her more than she needed. This is a beautiful picture of what Jesus has done for us. We were outsiders because of sin, empty and unworthy, yet He invites us to His table. Through His body and blood, He offers grace, forgiveness, and life abundant.
Ruth left that meal satisfied and with leftovers. That’s how God blesses—more than enough. Ephesians 3:20 says He does “exceedingly, abundantly more than we ask or imagine.” Jesus is our Redeemer, and He has made a place for us at His table.
Application:
Don’t let your past or present circumstances convince you that you don’t belong. Jesus has already set a place for you. Come to Him today and receive His grace.
Prayer:
Jesus, thank You for inviting me to Your table. Thank You for redeeming me and blessing me with more than I deserve. Help me live each day in the overflow of Your love. Amen.
