Passing through, not settling in

Scripture: “Though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death, I will fear no evil…” — Psalm 23:4
Valleys can feel permanent if you linger in them long enough. Pain has a way of convincing us, “This is my life now.”
But Scripture consistently uses a different phrase: passing through.
You aren’t meant to build a home in the valley. You walk through it — with God guiding, strengthening, and sustaining you.
This isn’t denial of pain. It’s declaring your destination is peace, not despair.
Reflection:
Where have you unintentionally “set up camp” in a place God is calling you to walk through?
Prayer:
Lord, keep me moving. Don’t let me settle in the places meant to shape me. Lead me toward peace.
