Day 3: The Power of Showing Back Up
Scripture:
John 20:26 -- "Eight days later… Thomas was with them."
Doubt didn't keep Thomas away forever. He showed back up. He rejoined the others, even though he was unsure.
Sometimes, just showing up is the biggest act of faith. You might not feel it. You might not have answers. But something in you says, "Keep going." Thomas didn't need to have it all figured out to keep walking toward Jesus--and neither do you.
Don't underestimate the power of being present. In your questions, in your hurt, in your fear--showing up creates space for Jesus to meet you.
Reflection:
Where have you stopped "showing up" in your faith out of fear or doubt? What step could you take to re-engage?
Prayer:
Lord, when it's hard to believe, help me to keep showing up. When I feel unsure, help me to lean in anyway. Meet me in the middle of the journey. Amen.
