Day 1: When Worship Meets Doubt
Scripture: Matthew 28:17
"When they saw Him, they worshiped Him; but some doubted."
The resurrection of Jesus is the cornerstone of Christian faith--victory over death, proof of God's love, the foundation of our hope. And yet, even those who witnessed the risen Christ face-to-face had doubts. How incredible is that?
Some worshiped. Some doubted. And some did both.
This verse reminds us that faith and doubt can exist in the same moment. You can be singing songs of praise while wondering deep down, "Is this all really true?" You're not alone in that. God doesn't scold the disciples for their hesitation--He commissions them. He meets them in their uncertainty and still entrusts them with purpose.
Reflection:
What doubts are you carrying today? Could God still use you--even there?
Prayer:
God, thank You that You meet me in my worship and in my wondering. Help me not to run from doubt, but to bring it to You. Grow my faith, even when it feels fragile. Amen.
