When You’re Stuck

Scripture: Proverbs 11:14

Sometimes you do everything right… and you’re still stuck.

You cooled down.

You had the conversation.

You tried to understand.

But the tension remains.

In those moments, immature reactions say:

“I’m done.”

“Forget it.”

“I’ll just move on.”

But kingdom maturity says something different:

Let’s get help.

The Frustration Principle reminds us that seeking wise mediation is not weakness — it’s peacemaking. It reflects the heart of Jesus, who never quit on people when relationships were messy.

Walking away is easy in today’s culture. Ghosting is common. Quiet quitting happens everywhere.

But believers are called to a higher road — one that values restoration enough to invite wise voices into the process.

Not to win.

Not to prove a point.

But to heal what’s strained.

If you find yourself stuck in a relationship tension today, don’t default to distance. Ask God if it’s time to invite wise, spiritually mature counsel into the situation.

Because sometimes breakthrough lives on the other side of humble help.

Prayer:

Lord, keep me from quitting too quickly. Give me humility to seek wise counsel when I’m stuck and courage to fight for healthy relationships. Amen.
