the world needs your gift

Scripture: Romans 12:6 (NLT)

“In his grace, God has given us different gifts for doing certain things well…”

You have a gift. More than one, maybe. And they weren’t given for your recognition — they were given for God’s glory and the good of His people.

Too many believers sit on the sidelines, convinced they don’t matter. But Taylor Fendley challenged that — in a village of 200 people, one basketball player or one faithful Bible study leader changes everything. You don’t have to be famous to be fruitful. You just have to be faithful.

Your gift might be teaching, serving, encouraging, giving, or praying. It might be hospitality, leadership, creativity, or compassion. Whatever it is — don’t bury it. Don’t compare it. Use it.

The Church is healthiest when every believer is functioning in their grace-given lane. When we all bring our portion, the world sees the fullness of Christ.

So the question isn’t, “Do I matter?” It’s, “Will I offer what I’ve been given?”

Prayer: God, thank You for the gifts You’ve placed in me. I don’t want to waste them or hide them. Help me recognize where I’m needed and give me the courage to step up and serve. Amen.
