Scripture: Romans 12:5 (ESV)

“So we, though many, are one body in Christ, and individually members one of another.”

You are not just saved — you are placed. God didn’t just redeem you from sin — He planted you into a body, the Church.

Taylor reminded us that the church is not just a gathering — it’s a living organism, made up of different parts that need each other. You weren’t meant to follow Jesus alone. The Christian life is not a solo hike. It’s a team race, where every person brings something essential to the table.

In Alaska, Taylor has seen what happens when believers are isolated — they burn out. But when the Church functions in unity, grace flows and transformation deepens. When one hurts, we all hurt. When one rejoices, we all rejoice.

Do you know your role in the body? Are you actively loving, serving, encouraging, and growing in community?

Prayer: Jesus, thank You for placing me in Your body. Help me not to drift into isolation. Use me to build up others, and give me the humility to receive what I need from them too. I need the Church — and the Church needs me. Amen.
