Scripture: “Instead, we will speak the truth in love, growing in every way more and more like Christ.” — Ephesians 4:15 (NLT)

Boldness in Christ is not about shouting louder or winning arguments. The early church was respected because their boldness looked like Jesus — full of truth, grace, and love. Boldness is Spirit-filled courage, not flesh-driven aggression.

If our “boldness” makes people feel hated instead of invited, we’ve missed the heart of Christ. True boldness is humble, patient, and kind. It heals instead of harms, builds up instead of tears down, and always points people back to Jesus.

Reflection: Do my words and tone reflect the bold love of Jesus, or just my opinions?

Prayer:

Lord, help me to be bold in love, not in pride. Fill my speech with grace and my heart with humility so that my boldness points people to You, not to me. Amen.
