1 Corinthians 11:23-24 (NLT)

“On the night he was betrayed, the Lord Jesus took some bread… ‘This is my body, which is given for you. Do this in remembrance of me.’”

Reflection:

The table of communion isn’t set for the worthy—it’s set for the weary. It’s not a reward for the religious elite but an invitation for those who know they need grace.

Think about who was at the table that night with Jesus: one would deny Him, one would betray Him, and the others would scatter in fear. Yet, Jesus still passed the bread. He still poured the cup. He still invited them to remember.

And He invites you too. You don’t have to bring perfection to the table—just your presence. You come with your doubts, your regrets, your struggles. And Jesus meets you with grace, reminding you that you belong. You’re not defined by your weakness but by His sacrifice.

Today, as you reflect on communion, let your heart rest in this truth: you are welcome, not because you’ve earned it, but because Jesus made a way.

Prayer:

Lord, I come to Your table as I am—imperfect, sometimes overwhelmed, but deeply grateful. Thank You for welcoming me. Remind me I belong, not because of what I’ve done, but because of Your love. Amen.
