Doubt Is an Invitation to Trust Again

Day 5:

When Peter stepped onto the water, he had incredible faith — but then he saw the storm and began to sink. Jesus didn’t condemn him; He immediately reached out His hand.


When Jesus asked Peter, “Why did you doubt?”, it wasn’t a scolding — it was an invitation to trust again. Jesus was reminding Peter of all the moments they’d already walked through together.


Jesus says the same to us today: Remember what I’ve done. Remember My faithfulness. Don’t let fear drown you — let My love lift you.


Prayer:

“Jesus, help me to trust You again even when I’m afraid. Remind me of Your faithfulness when my heart wants to doubt. Strengthen my courage to walk with You. Amen.”


Reflection Question:

What storm is causing me to lose focus on Jesus? How can I fix my eyes back on Him today?
