Day 4:

One reason faith sometimes feels confusing is because we all read Scripture through a lens — the lens of our upbringing, experiences, or wounds. It’s easy to pick up wrong ideas about God without even realizing it.

But the Bible is meant to be read through the lens of Jesus: His love, His grace, and His truth. Whenever you feel stuck or confused about God, go back to Jesus. Look at how He treated the outcast, the hurting, and the sinner. Look at how He gave Himself for us.

Reading Scripture through the heart of Jesus anchors our faith and keeps us from wandering into fear, pride, or judgment.

Prayer:

“Jesus, let me see Your heart every time I open Your Word. Teach me to understand Scripture through the lens of Your love. Amen.”

Reflection Question:

Am I willing to let Jesus reshape the way I see God and His Word? Where do I need to start?
