Scripture: Romans 3:22 (NLT)
“We are made right with God by placing our faith in Jesus Christ. And this is true for everyone who believes, no matter who we are.”
Every religion says, “Do.” Jesus says, “Done.”
This is the scandal of grace. You don’t earn salvation through moral effort or religious performance. You receive it by faith in Jesus — who already did everything needed to reconcile you to God.
Pastor Cory made it clear: Christianity is not about working your way to God — it’s about a God who came to you. Jesus doesn’t hand you a checklist. He hands you a cross — already carried, already completed.
We don’t serve Him to earn love. We serve because we’ve been loved. That’s the message: undeserved favor, unearned forgiveness, unconditional relationship.
So stop striving. Start receiving. And let your faith be a response, not a requirement.
Prayer: Jesus, thank You that it’s not about what I can do, but what You’ve already done. I place my trust in You alone. Teach me to live from grace, not for it. Amen.
