Scripture: Acts 3:15 (NIV)
“You killed the author of life, but God raised him from the dead. We are witnesses of this.”
Everything hinges on this: Did Jesus rise from the dead?
Pastor Cory reminded us of the facts. The resurrection isn’t just folklore. It’s a documented, eyewitness-supported event. Hundreds saw Him alive after the cross. His closest followers didn’t just write about it — they died for it.
No one dies for what they know is a lie.
The resurrection separates Jesus from every other religious figure. He didn’t just teach a new path — He proved His power over death. And if He truly rose, then everything He claimed is worth trusting.
You don’t have to understand it all. But don’t dismiss it without honest consideration. If the resurrection is true, it confirms His identity, validates His promises, and assures your eternity.
Prayer: Father, help me not overlook the significance of the resurrection. Give me faith to trust in the power that raised Jesus — the same power that gives me new life. Amen.
