Happy Easter Week! In this class we're going to take a special look at one of my favorite biblical themes -- the Tree of Life. It's a beautiful thread woven all the way through the Bible's tapestry from Genesis to Revelation with a special connection to the cross.
We'll also continue our travels through the story of Scripture with a look at the books of Ezra and Nehemiah (together), and learn more about How To Read The Bible with a look at its different primary literary styles. Hope you enjoy it!
Theme of the Week -
Tree of life
Explore the rich biblical theme of the tree of life, from its introduction in the garden of Eden to Jesus’ ultimate sacrifice.
Books of the Week -
Ezra-Nehemiah
In Ezra-Nehemiah we see the people return to their homeland after exile and attempt to rebuild the temple and set right their covenant with God.
Study of the Week - HTRB: Literary Styles
To better understand the Bible, we have to first learn to recognize the different literary styles used by the biblical authors.
