Above the natural

Scripture: “Since we live by the Spirit, let us keep in step with the Spirit.” — Galatians 5:25

The early church didn’t spread because of clever marketing or human charisma — it spread because the Spirit of God was alive within ordinary people. The book of Acts reminds us that what God is doing in and through us is supernatural.

Paul and Silas were thrown in prison for preaching Jesus. Instead of despairing, they sang. Instead of fighting, they worshiped. Their response wasn’t natural — it was spiritual. And in that midnight praise session, chains broke, doors opened, and a jailer’s heart was transformed.

We live in a world that celebrates strength, success, and self. But God’s Spirit calls us to rise above the natural — to respond with peace when others expect anger, to show love where others show bitterness, to believe when the world says it’s impossible.

Transformation begins when we stop living by sight and start living by Spirit.

Prayer:

Holy Spirit, lift me above what comes naturally. Teach me to walk in step with You — to trust, to forgive, to love beyond what I can see. Let my life reveal a power greater than myself. Amen.
