Becoming — God’s “More” in Motion

Scripture: “Now to him who is able to do immeasurably more than all we ask or imagine, according to his power that is at work within us.” — Ephesians 3:20
When God calls His people to become something new, He never does it halfway. We serve a God of “more” — more grace, more transformation, more purpose. But God’s “more” doesn’t start in our comfort zones; it begins when we step into His mission.
In Acts 16, Paul and his team are moving across regions when the Holy Spirit redirects them through a vision of a man from Macedonia saying, “Come over and help us.” This moment marks the expansion of the Gospel into Europe — a new frontier of faith. Paul didn’t set out with a five-year plan; he simply stayed available for God’s next step.
That’s what becoming looks like: movement guided by the Spirit. God transforms us not when we stay still, but when we move in obedience. Each act of faith, each risk for His kingdom, becomes a seed that can transform the world around us.
Maybe God is calling you to “go to Macedonia” — to step into a conversation, a ministry, or a space that feels uncertain. You don’t have to have all the answers; you just have to say yes.
Prayer:
Lord, make me available to Your “more.” Help me to see where You’re already working and give me the courage to join You there. I want to live as someone in motion — following Your Spirit into the next chapter of becoming. Amen.
