2 Corinthians 5:17 (NLT)

“Anyone who belongs to Christ has become a new person. The old life is gone; a new life has begun!”

Reflection:

Have you ever caught yourself thinking, I’ll never change? Maybe you’ve carried regret from your past or shame from your struggles. But baptism boldly interrupts those lies.

When you went under the water, it wasn’t just a nice moment—it was a declaration. The old is gone. The shame, the failures, the past—it doesn’t have the final word. Jesus does.

New life isn’t about being instantly perfect—it’s about living free, day by day, from the labels that once held you back. You won’t get it right every time, but you’ll get up every time because grace is your foundation.

The old life doesn’t own you anymore. Walk in the new.

Prayer:

God, help me leave the old behind. Remind me that I am a new creation in Christ. Give me the courage to live like the past is buried and the future is full of hope. Amen.
